islAND PEAK

Island Peak, also known as Imja Tse, is a popular trekking peak in the Everest region of Nepal. Island Peak is located in the Khumbu region of the Himalayas, within the Sagarmatha National Park. It is part of the Mahalangur range. The elevation of Island Peak is 6,189 meters (20,305 feet) above sea level.  Island Peak is considered a moderately challenging climb and is often chosen by trekkers as an introductory peak climbing experience. While it involves some technical sections, it is feasible for climbers with basic mountaineering skills.
