- Nagarkot, a popular hill station, is renowned for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. The trek allows you to witness the changing colors of the mountains as the sun rises and sets, creating a magical and serene experience.
Chisapani Nagarkot-trip itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu to Sundarijal (Drive) – Trek to Chisapani
Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1-2 hours).
Start trekking from Sundarijal.
Trek through the Shivapuri National Park, passing through dense forests and small villages.
Reach Chisapani and enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Day 2: Chisapani to Kutumsang
Begin the trek towards Kutumsang.
Walk through charming villages, terraced fields, and lush forests.
Experience the local culture and interact with the villagers.
Reach Kutumsang and rest for the night.
Day 3: Kutumsang to Thadepati
Trek from Kutumsang to Thadepati.
Pass through rhododendron and fir forests, with occasional views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges.
Thadepati offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
Day 4: Thadepati to Nagarkot
Begin the trek to Nagarkot.
Walk through forests and uphill trails.
Reach Nagarkot and enjoy the stunning sunrise/sunset views over the Himalayas.
Explore Nagarkot and relax.
Day 5: Nagarkot to Kathmandu (Drive)
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu (1-2 hours).
End of the trek.
