Everest Base CAmp -trip itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Transfer to your hotel and attend a trek briefing.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Lukla, Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft)
Fly to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft) and start trekking to Phakding.
Descend to the Dudh Kosi River and follow the trail to Phakding.
Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)
Trek through picturesque villages and cross suspension bridges.
Ascend to Namche Bazaar, the main trading center of the Khumbu region.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Acclimate to the high altitude.
Explore Namche Bazaar, visit the Everest View Hotel for stunning mountain views.
Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft)
Trek through rhododendron forests with views of Mt. Everest.
Visit the Tengboche Monastery, with panoramic mountain views.
Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m/14,300ft)
Descend to the Imja River and ascend to Dingboche.
Enjoy views of Ama Dablam and Island Peak.
Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
Take a short hike to Nagarjun Hill for acclimatization.
Rest and prepare for the upcoming trek.
Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft)
Trek along the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier.
Pass through Thukla and reach Lobuche.
Day 9: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,164m/16,942ft) and Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft)
Trek to Gorak Shep, have lunch, and continue to Everest Base Camp.
Explore Everest Base Camp and return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 10: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) and Pheriche (4,280m/14,042ft)
Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise views of Mt. Everest.
Descend to Pheriche for the night.
Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Descend through Pangboche and Tengboche.
Return to Namche Bazaar.
Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Descend from Namche Bazaar to Lukla.
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.
Rest or explore Kathmandu.
Day 14: Departure
Depart from Kathmandu.
