Kanchanjunga Trek Hilight
- The trek offers breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga massif, which includes four of the world’s highest peaks – Kanchenjunga Main, Kanchenjunga West, Kanchenjunga Central, and Kanchenjunga South.
- The trek takes you through remote villages inhabited by various ethnic groups such as the Rai, Limbu, and Sherpa people.
- The trek involves crossing challenging high mountain passes, including the Mirgin La Pass and the Sele La Pass.
- En route, you’ll visit monasteries, chortens, and prayer wheels, providing insight into the local Buddhist, Kirant and Hindu culture.
Kanchanjunga Base CAmp
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing and preparation
Day 3: Fly to Bhadrapur, drive to Phidim 1300 m
Day 4: Trek to Amjilosa (2,308m)
Day 5: Trek to Gyabla (2,730m)
Day 6: Trek to Ghunsa (3,595m)
Day 7: Acclimatization day at Ghunsa
Day 8: Trek to Khambachen (4,050m)
Day 9: Trek to Lhonak (4,780m)
Day 10: Hike to Kanchenjunga Base Camp (5,143m) and come back to Lhonak
Day 11: Trek to Ghunsa
Day 12: Trek to Sele La Pass Base (4,290m)
Day 13: Trek to Tseram (3,870m) via Sele La Pass (4,290m)
Day 14: Trek to Ramche (4580m)
Day 15: Hike upto Oktang (South KBC 4730) trek to Tseram (3,870m)
Day 16: Trek to Tortong (2,995m)
Day 17: Trek to Yamphudin (2,080m) via Lasiya Pass (3310)
Day 18: Trek to Phumphe Danda (1,858m)
Day 19: Trek to Kande Bhanjyang (2129 m)
Day 20: Drive to Phikal (1428 m)
Day 21: Drive to Bhadrapur and fly to Kathmandu
Day 22: Kathmandu sightseeing
Day 23 : Fly Back to Home
